Bio: Ann Marie grew up on a dairy farm in Cache Valley, Utah. Her cow milking days ended when she enrolled at Snow College and later transferred to USU. She began a decade-long career in hotel management in Logan and then Park City. She became a client of the Women’s Business Center of Utah (WBCUtah) and launched a small business in 2010, concoXions LLC, a specialty drink bartending. She was later hired by WBCUtah as a business consultant and provided 1,700+ hours of advising to over 520 clients.

Ann Marie was promoted to director in 2013 and has taken the WBCUtah online and statewide, tripled the budget and staff, opened a second office, created new opportunities to access capital and launched a first-ever directory of women-owned businesses, resulting in the number of individual women served annually from 175 to over 700, who live in nearly every county in the State. The center was recently awarded the SBA’s Women’s Business Center of Excellence award for Region 8.

Ann Marie serves on Utah Governor’s Women in the Economy Subcommittee representing small business, the board and credit committee of Mountain West Small Business Finance and credit committee for the Salt Lake City Economic Development Loan Fund. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Utah State University and a Certificate of Entrepreneurship through the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program.
