Jaimi ButlerTopic: Adapt to Personal and Professional Change

Description: Just like the Great Salt Lake, our lives change and transition. In this session we will discuss ways to adapt to personal and professional change, ways to become resilient, and ideas for stepping into new opportunities.

Bio: Biologist Jaimi Butler has not shut-up about Great Salt Lake since 1999. During that time she has witnessed the lake through the lens of industry, government, nonprofits and academia. Jaimi is the co-author of a children’s book about the lake and co-edited the first book devoted entirely to the biology of Great Salt Lake.  A book of extreme relevance during this time of change. Jaimi is the founding Coordinator of Great Salt Lake Institute at Westminster College and is currently transitioning into self-employment as a freestyle biologist/science communicator/occasional farmer.
