Bio: Janell is a Talent Solutions Manager at Ancestry. She has led teams of recruiters who actively support Ancestry’s Content, Family History Business, DNA Science and Operations, Legal and Member Services. Janell has been in the Talent Acquisition space for 8 years. She has brought over 250 top talented individuals to the Ancestry family from early career to Director level positions across the organization. She has a passion for supporting her team and business partners to ensure that the teams have the right solution to their individual talent challenges. Janell loves to help find efficient and unique solutions to the surprising challenges in that businesses are facing in this uncertain talent market. Prior to joining the Ancestry family, Janell was a Recreation Director in the human services field. Janell holds a bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences: Psychology from Utah Valley University. She is an advocate for those who lack representation and a voice. Janell loves to support her community through volunteer work. She is an avid soccer fan and in her spare time loves to read and spend time with her family.
